Job title: Receptionist
„Deliberate action is the key to realizing one’s dreams and goals.”
What do you do at URBANAUTS?
My daily tasks are manifold: I manage our digital reception desk, manage requests and booking, take care of payments, and write reports. I also make sure that every guest receives welcome letters containing all relevant information for their stay and handle the check-out processes. Additionally, I have administrative responsibilities and act as an intermediary and organizer when it comes to housekeeping and technical problems. Lastly, I also spend a lot of time talking to guests and clients of ours.
What do you like best about your job?
What I like best about my job is that I get to learn something new every day. I also love that I get the opportunity to gain expertise in areas that are not necessarily part of my job, giving me the opportunity to get to know other areas of work. Last but not least I love that I have the feeling that I am valued as an employee and that I get to deliver creative input.
In which suite would you stay for a weekend, if you’d have to choose?
Personally, I really love the carpenter in the Belvedere graetzl. The ambiance of that place just really speaks to me. Additionally, I really appreciate how quiet that corner of the neighborhood is, and just love the courtyard.
Where does one find you, if you are not at work?
In Vienna, I like the area around the Schönbrunn castle and the Café Francais, which has a fantastic menu, a lot. In Linz, my favorite spot is the Pöstingberg, which offers a tremendous view. On hot days though, I just like lying anywhere on the river of the Danube.
How do you like your coffee?
Truth be told I am a tea drinker. When it comes to tea my favorites are countless.
